History

• Established in 1942 as Omsk Machine Building Institute
• 1942, Technological and Mechanical Department

• 1963, Omsk Polytechnic Institute: 7 Departments, 5900 students, 210 professors and instructors
• 1993,  Omsk State Technical University: 12 Departments, 12000 students, 740 professors and instructors
• 2006 Omsk State Technical University: 3 institutes,7 Departments, 600 instructors, 14000, students, 8 buildings, Sport centers, 8 Hostels, Publishing House, Medical Center, Sport Camp
• 2010 Omsk State Technical University: 7 institutes,7 Departments, 1000 instructors, 16000, students, 10 buildings, Sport centers, 8 Hostels, Publishing House, Medical Center, Sport Camp
• 2019 Omsk State Technical University: 8 Institutes, 7 Faculties, 840 Teachers, 17500 Students, 15 Buildings, Sport centers, Swiming Pool, 6 Dormitories, Publishing House, Medical Center, Psychology Service Center, Sport Camp, Student Club, Counsil Student.
