Main goal of this institute is to train specialists for energy industry that are engaged in designing, building, development and operation of electric and heat power engineering facilities.
Highly qualified teachers, cooperation with top Russian scientists and modern equipment let the Institute constantly improve training quality and do research on current energy problems. Apart from that, specialists of such companies as “Omskelectro”, “Territorial power company ¹11”, “Yung-energoneft”, etc. are involved in the studying process.
The Institute is also involved in scientific and research activity in cooperation with region’s companies.
List of departments:
Scientific research is one of the key students’ activities. Students develop independence of thought, professional and creative skills aimed at solving complex technical problems. Students and teachers are actively engaged in research. As a result of this activity there was created a scientific school “Development of scientific and technology solutions for diagnostics and improvement of energy efficiency and functioning reliability of equipment and power engineering systems”. In order to promote scientific activity yearly conferences and competitions are being held. As a prize students get higher scholarship.
